Ickleford is a village in North Hertfordshire on the border between Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. Whilst the Cricket Club retains the charm and history of village cricket we think our future is in the higher standards of the Saracens Hertfordshire League, playing in Division 1.
Cricket was played at the Manor Ground from 1947 to 1977 before moving to our current home in Chambers Lane in 1978 sharing the facilities with Football, Squash and Petanque.
Our 3 Saturday X1s all play in the Saracens Hertfordshire League in Division 1, Division 5A and Regional Division A.
On Sundays we play an occasional friendly.
We also have a thriving Junior Section with teams at Under 10 soft ball, Under 11, Under 12 & Under 13.
We are fortunate to be able to play our home cricket at Chambers Lane and at the village ground at nearby Holwell. So if you have some spare time one weekend why not pop along to one of our grounds and watch some cricket in a tranquil and peaceful setting.
